Too lazy to put a title...

Yesterday.... Was hot.

We got up and went to Osaka.... I think. No, Nara! Yeah, we went to Nara and walked. We got to a park filled with deer.

You can feed the deer these cracker-biscuit thingies. The deer aren't afraid of people either. They were chasing tourists, eating uchiwa fans, biting people... xD Poor Kayleigh! I met this one very... affectionate deer who liked nothing more than to rub her head on my butt. What is it about animals in Japan? The bee tried to go down my shirt, the deer greeted me inappropriately... xD

Kayleigh and I met our new best friend. Phillip. We named him that, and he is now the coolest deer in the world.

We went to a temple nearby with a huge statue. In the back there's a hole in a pole. (Hey, it rhymes!) If you can go through, then you'll reach Enlightenment faster... Or something. Nathaniel tried. Kayleigh and I said that if he made it through, then he had to be a wizard for sure.

He made it.

And got a nasty scrape on his elbow in theprocess.

I have pictures! xD And Kayleigh has a video.

The group split up after lunch. Half of us went on the bus while theother half walked. We felt so grown-up, getting on a bus and figuring out everything untilwe realized it was the wrong bus. xD I feel so stupid.

After that we went to Osaka and walked around the mall. Since I don't like heights and Nathaniel wasn't interested and Jonathan didn't want to be alone with everyone else, we rode the escalator. xD

Then, with Kayleigh, we went back to the hostel for an hour of hiding in the boys' closet and playing word games.

Back to Osaka! Then to Sakuranomiya, which was holding a festival. It was by water, and a lovely breeze was picking up. We walked around, got food and shaved ice, and waited for the boat parade to start.

It did. It was boring. But the wind was really blowing and it felt great.

Emily, Heidi, Kayleigh, Jonathan, Nathaniel and I headed back to the hostel before the fireworks started to avoid huge crowds and headaches from fireworks.

We managed to get ourselves to the train station, to the right platform, on the right train, and ride to Shin-Osaka station. Yeah, I feel so grown up. xD Even though I really didn't do much.

We then all hung out in the guys' room. Kayleigh and I went into the closet while we all made lesbian jokes (xD). We told riddles and I freaked out that Nathaniel was dying. Don't tell me not to worry! It only makes me worry more! And then it makes me say even more embarrassing things later! If you hadn't been so stubborn I could've given you the band-aid without the weird ranting thing! Dx

After that, I went straight to bed. xDD I was too embarrassed by what I had said and a little hurt by his reaction to go back in there. And I was sleeeepy.

Now I'm getting my last post of the trip out of the way before the long trip to Tokyo.

Hey, they're playing the Laputa theme. xD Kimi wo Nosete...

I've been testing myself to see if I can recognize the songs playing in the stores as I walk past. Dinner the other night played Koi wo Shichaimashita by Tanpopo (Wasn't expecting a H!P song, let alone one by their oldest MM subgroup. xD) and Life by Nakashima Mika. And they were weird violin/piano versions, too.

Ah.

I have just been told that my mother has given this link to everyone. Like, everyone.

I was quite content with the two people who read it, and I really would like to request that my mother stop sharing the link. Please. I don't even share the link that much. It's pretty well hidden.

So, don't read!

I don't mind you reading about my time in Japan, but I don't want people I know reading about my personal life.

Day Three-- Osaka and Kyoto

Lalala. I cannot feel my legs.

We woke up at 6:30. xD Then we came upstairs and I typed the previous two entries. And then, at 8:30, we headed out.

We rode to Kyoto, to a temple. Called something.

It was full of Buddhist stuff. We walked around in our socks. That was fun.

I got le-sunburned. Wewtt! Ow.

Then we went to another temple. We climbed a kazillion stairs and died and I got assualted by a perverted bee. A random lady ran up and saved me. Good going, Maurice. You let some woman wear the pants.xD

Then we walked down a row of shops. I had melon soda. And bought stuff.

It was hot. We were tired. And we went everywhere.

But at least I caught a glimpse of heaven. The International Manga Museum. It was lovely. We only walked in. But next time!

Then we dragged our bleeding bodies to Kyoto Station and I got food. With Kayleigh and sensei. I dropped a shrimp. Sensei spilled sauce. Kayleigh dropped something. And I tried miso soup, pickled something, weird sauce, and tofu. xD It was gross. Except for the dipping sauce.

Then we returned, and here I am. I shall go pass out on the tatami with Kayleigh and read the Hana to Yume magazine I bought. xD

Day Two-- Nagoya and Osaka and Kyoto

I woke up at 5:30. Joy.

We watched Transformers and hadbreakfast andleft.

God, it's too hotand humid.

Nagoya Castle is pretty (And airconditioned) but itwas really crowded. Then we went to a park that was having a Disneyland show orsomething. Theroof hasa pond/fountainon it. So the water made rippling reflections on everything below.

By thetime we returned to the station, I was ready to die. We went to "Mermaid Cafe" and sat directly under the air vents. Iced milk tea isdisgusting but addicting.

We got free stuff.

By the way, I found my soulmate.

Yes, he was walking through the station, Asian, with black hair andbrown eyes. He MUST have been over six one. The moment our eyes did not meet I knew we were meant to betogether.

My fan, the air conditioner at Nagoya Castle's observation deck, and the J-rocker we followed have some competition.

Oh, and I hit my head on the lamp at the cafe. It hurt.

Bullet trains are scary.

We made itto Osaka is probably halfan hour. It was just as muggy. The hostel is farther from the station than the hotel wasin Nagoya. It is on the tenth floorof a ten story building. Ithas manga, computers, vending machines, and a cafteria. The rooms are on the ninth floor. It is dorm style, with two bunkbeds anda tatamiarea with room fortwo people. The restroom is down the hall, with your choice of western ortraditional toilets.

The showers are upstairs. With one private shower. The rest are public.

After we made our beds and let our legs breathe, we met sensei and went back out.

Shopping in Teramachi!

Kyoto is my new favorite place. Evar.

He let us go to the main strip. We ran to Tower Records, and I found two Melon Kinenbi CDs I havebeen searchingfor. Yayy~

Fordinner, wewent to Haagen Daz, orhowever youspell it. xD

I had an apple float. It was good. (and I havenot had much ofanappetite)

We dragged the boys around.

Jonathan is getting on my last nerve. He is likea four year old. During lunch, he would not stop wiggling. He wasscooting hischair, playing with money, flicking smoothies at Nathaniel... And hetalks soloudly! He takesevery little comment literally, and argues when we kid. Everyone is getting sick of him.

Anywho. So Kyoto is great.

The shops are great. The feeling isgreat. The lights are great. There was this little back street, full of lanterns and little shops. We hada lotof fun. Nathaniel promises that when we are in Tokyo or have more time, he will do karaoke with me. Yayy!

It took forever to get back. We got our keys and wentto ourroom. Emily and Heidi talked about how much they hate Maurice.

I planned on taking thelongest shower known to man. I was halfway through the shower when someone started banging on thedoor. I hurried andfinished, to find out that a woman who had left when I came in had lefther clothes in there, apparently, and wasn't very happy that I had gone before her. I thought shewas going to smack me. And shedidn't speaka wordof Japanese or English, so I couldn't apologize.

I am embarrassed.

Look! I am not dead!

I finally got computer access. Unfortunately, the keyboard is really weird and I do not like it. And I cannot find the punctuation keys. xD

Anywho, I have been writing about my trip in my notebook, so here it is!

Day One-- Flight and Nagoya

Planes. I. Hate. Them.

I ended up sitting between Nathaniel and Jonathan.

We played cardgames, watched anime on meh ipod, and slowly rotted through the ten hour flight. Jonathan watched Horton Hears a Who four times, finding it even more hilarious than the last time, and Nathaniel fell asleep on me. xD And he says he cannot fall asleep on the plane.

The moment we gotoff the plane and stepped into the terminal, we all yelled "woah!"

It was hot.

It was muggy.

Our hairpoofed up.

We exchanged our money. This oldman tried to help usfind the hotel we already knewthelocation of and thought that sensei knew no Japanese, even though he was speaking tohim in perfectly clear Japanese.

We got on the train. Every time someone saw us, they would avoid us.

Our hotel was just afew blocks from thestation. It was downtown Nagoya, full of pachinko parlors.

We boughtweird soda.

We ate melon bread.

We spoke in Japanese tothe ladies at the front desk.

I shared a room with Kayleigh. We sort of bonded during those 12 hours. xD Our room wastiny. I had to duck. The bathroom was only slightly larger than theone on theairplane. We could hear Nathaniel and Jonathan's conversations if we stood in the bathroom. And thetoiletscared me to noend.

We stalkeda J-rocker on a tiny bike.

We watched Japanese dubs of Full House.

The train was pink andpurple.

For fun, Kayleigh and I have been calling Jonathan and Nathaniel Maurice and the Nate-anator.

The bedwas uncomfortable. The pillowwas like a folded tarp covered in rough fabric.

Dubs update~

I have a few I'd like to share with everyone~

Otaku Musume's first single: Relations

iDOLM@STER!

Sarah made the video and mixed it. The video, in my opinion, is the greatest things ever. xD

Other half of first single. Taiyou no Jealousy!

Mini C-ute's SECOND single: A-side! Massara Blue Jeans!

And its b-side, Sakura Chirari.

My voice just isn't made to sing that high. xD

Happy birthday to me?

Listening to: Kawaii Kare by Melon Kinenbi

Melooooon Kinenbiiiii~

Why do I love you so much? x3

Anywho!

Today be-ith my sixteenth birthday. Wewtt wewtt!

It doesn't really feel like my birthday. I've just been packing, cleaning, and getting ready for my trip tomorrow and the sort-of party I'm having today. xD

I got $230 in birthday money. xD I should really start asking people for money every year.

But I must admit, it doesn't really feel like my birthday because there has only been one present for me to open... Just one.

I hope I get something from my friends today. ;____; I really need the money and I appreciate it, but I sort of miss the crappy gifts... xD

I'll post about my party tonight... I think.

Those of you who read my blog... Family... friends... complete strangers... I will write about my Japan trip daily. And if I can't get on the computer, I'll just write it in a journal and type it up when I get home. xD

It's More Than an Iced Tea Jingle...

Listening to: Ki ga Tsukeba Anata by Matsuura Aya

xD

I have no idea what this title is about. This song is used in an iced tea commercial. xD

Well, not much has happened. I've been preparing for the trip to Japan (holy crap, five days away) and posting in roleplays.

A very sad thing has happened.

Harvest Moon: Crystal Falls Village, the roleplay that included my lovely Katsumi and her soon-to-be husband Soul? (He was going to propose very soon) died.

Everyone stopped posting. They were all on trips, I thought. It was just GoldTwilight, who plays my guy character, Shinobu's, love interest. And The Soul Punisher started to post a little, too... And me, of course.

Just as we were getting back on track, Soul-kun and I, the owner of the guild announced that he was remaking it. =_________=

And so I joined that one, and EVERYONE was there. xD Why weren't you guys poooosting?

In a HM roleplay, it's quite the accomplishment to have a romantic interest. xD There are, like, 20 perfect mary-sues, all turning on the charm so they get that cute guy. I was actually, really, really lucky with Katsumi. xD

So now I'm back to being invisible. =________=

It's a lonely feeling, actually. With Crystal Falls, I always had someone to roleplay with. I had fluffy moments. And when I wasn't roleplaying, I was planning out how Katsumi would act as a wife and mom... That fun stuff.

Now it's all gone. *cries*

Oh well. I made two characters that should be fun to roleplay... If anyone replies to my posts. =_____=

I have two sisters. Tamaki is the older one, 24 years old, and is an artist. She's constantly worrying about her younger sister, but also enjoys teasing her. She feels that marriage is just an excuse for women to act weak, and that she can be just as happy single. She constantly has her guard up.

The younger, Aine, is 18. She's pretty, but very weird. She can be a little spacey, and comes off a little intimidating, but she just has trouble communicating with people. She's unemployed, but wants to become more independent and finally find her place in the village.

My hopes for these two are that Aine finally makes a friend. xD Someone who she talk to and be herself around. And that she finds some sweet guy, marries him, and feels like she belongs.

And then, of course, I want Tamaki to meet some guy who completely knocks her off her feet and has her rethinking her outlook on life. I want him to make her more girly and change her whole self to be with him. ^-^

Because, in HM roleplays, no matter how difficult or antisocial or anti-marriage your character is, its every person's goal to get married. xD

I also made a roleplay with Syrus. It's really cool. It's sort of, make the plot as you go (character driven!) with specified character traits.

I play the ditz. She's a pretty stupid girl (xD) who can summon animals. But since they don't listen to her, they just come and go as they please. Her favorite is Jin, a three tailed cat who constantly rides on her shoulders.

OMFG I love Jin. xD Jin is the coolest cast evar. xD

For one thing, he's ten times smarter than Aine (I love that name, so I used it twice). He's very alert, and understands things very quickly. He also protects Aine.

But at the same time, he's not afraid to punish her when he finds her annoying. Like, biting her on the nose or the shoulder, or strangling her with one of his tails. xD They're an amusing pair. It's fun.

Syrus' goal was to make a roleplay that could easily be made into an anime or manga. And actually, he's succeeded doing just that. Since there aren't any mary-sues (well, the damsel might be) and plenty of REALLY scary and cool villains, and interesting heroes, it's really cool. If it develops more, I'll talk to Syrus about turning it into a webcomic. However, I'm not sure if my artistic skills would be good enough for it... xD

Manga Review #1- Emma

Series: Emma
Manga-ka: Kaoru Mori

Emma is the story of a young woman named Emma during the Industrial Revolution. Once a homeless girl who had to rely on selling flowers to get by, she was picked up by the kindly yet strict Kelly Stowner and became her maid. One afternoon, she opens the front door, hitting a young man right in the face. He is William Jones, the eldest son of a wealthy merchant family. Kelly was his governess when he was a child, and he had come to visit his old teacher... without any notice. He immediately falls in love with Emma.

I like to separate the story into three parts.

1. The courtship, I guess you could call it. This is William and Emma coming to terms with their feelings for each other.
2. The separation. After the death of Kelly, Emma moves out to the countryside and works for a German family without telling William.
3. The reunion. William and Emma are reunited and must face their biggest challenges in order to be together.

The story is filled with a myriad of characters, friends and foes alike. There's the easygoing and pampered Hakim, a prince of India and William's good friend, who provides a sort of comic relief throughout. Even more so is his small harem. xD

Then there is Eleanor, a shy and polite daughter of a nobleman who is instantly smitten with William. She is the romantic rival, as she is so obviously in love with him. Everyone around them (except for Hakim, of course) believes that the feelings are reciprocated. So William is in constant pressure to propose. At one point, Eleanor misunderstands William and believes that he is promising to marry her, but he really wasn't. When he is confronted, he proposes without thinking. So it is yet another challenge as no one will allow William to call it off.

William's father poses as the main villain. He is against William cavorting with a maid, and along with Eleanor's parents, will do anything to separate the couple so Eleanor and William can be together.

I've always been curious about this series, and the reviews I've read have been very good. So I started reading it. By the end of the first chapter, I was hooked.

The artwork is beautiful. The characters are very life-like. The plot, with all of its twists and turns, is very believable. You are praying with all of your heart that the two can be together, and you can't help but get angry every time someone gets in their way. It has quickly become one of my favorite manga series ever.

I couldn't stop reading! It took me about two days to read the whole seven volume series. And one of those days included my sleepover with Leah. (Sorry Leah! I didn't mean to read through the whole sleepover!)

I couldn't put it down. If I tried to, I found myself dying to find out what happened next, and so I'd just end up going back to it. xD

It's a fantastic series. I'll be starting the anime soon. I hope that it does the manga justice.

I recommend that anyone who likes a good love story or books with a good amount of drama tries Emma. It does not disappoint.

Is my life complete? I think it is!

Ohh happy day!

I was browsing the new group dubs like I sometimes do, and I ran across a bulletin left by a person I dub with. She's holding auditions for a whole CONCERT! I respect a person who is willing to tackle so many songs... xD

I wasn't all that interested, until I saw the song list.

HOLY CRAP! JUNJUN AND LINLIN DO A DUET? BY THEMSELVES?! AND IT'S SUKI NA SENPAI?!

I was a very happy Kokoro.

I love Junjun's voice. It's so cute and pretty and strong... This only furthers my strong belief that she should get a major part in a single. Soon. Please.

So I immediately sent in an audition for Junjun. xD

I looooove this song. I looooove Junjun! Tsunku, give her more parts! D=<

Meh, I still don't like Linlin's voice. =______=

My Japan Trip Itinerary!

Here's the plan:

  • Mon. July 21st: meet at SFO (international terminal near United counters) by 8:00a; board flight for Nagoya (UA 831)
  • Tue. 22nd: flight arrives in Nagoya in the early afternoon; train to Nagoya, check into hotel, dinner in town
  • Wed. 23rd: sightseeing in Nagoya in the morning; travel to Osaka in the afternoon, check into hostel, sightseeing in Osaka
  • Thu. 24th: visit Kyoto (Nijo Castle, Sanjuusangendoo and Kiyomizudera - famous temples, Kyoto Station, dinner in Osaka)
  • Fri. 25th: visit Nara (Todaiji, Deer Park) and Kyoto (Teramachi shopping district)
  • Sat. 26th: travel to Tokyo, check into hotel, dinner in Tokyo

I'm a little disappointed we're not going to Akihabara or Shibuya, but I guess that's for the best? I don't think otaku are used to six feet tall blonde American girls traipsing around. xD

=___________=

There's something wrong with my blog. I think I broke something when I posted that intro. xD

I think I'm going to die

Listening to: Onegai Miwaku no Target by Melon Kinenbi

Is it so wrong that I like a pop song that has a music video with a bunch of muscular black guys singing and dancing?

*blinks* It's amusing, I think.

HOLY CRAP!

I am going to die, I think.

The Japan trip has been moved up a day. I am now going on the twenty-first.

*foams at the mouth*

I'm not ready! I'm not ready! I can't do this! I can't do this! *spazzes*

I'm gonna dooooooiiiii.

Which means that my birthday is going to be spent with me worrying. =_______= And packing.

I don't understand Chinese~

Listening to: Zen Me Ban by S.H.E

This is the opening to the Taiwanese Hana Kimi drama. While it certainly is amusing, and I enjoy there are dramas of my favorite manga series, I don't really care for Ella (who is the boyish looking girl in the video). I mean, she's funny, but just doesn't have that Mizuki quality... The Japanese drama is much better. I mean, the actress is a convincing Mizuki. She looks like a very pretty boy. Ella's not very pretty in my opinion. ;_________;

Anywho, I lurv this group. There's Selena, the cute one with the long hair, Hebe, the beautiful one with the cropped hair, and Ella, the boyish one. =3

S.H.E, get it? xD

Hebe's really beautiful. She used to have really long hair, but it got burned off in a fire during one of their concerts or PV shootings or something. ;_____;

Selena's really sweet. ^-^

Anywho!

I recorded, like, ten songs yesterday. Let's count! =D

Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari-- Iida's lines
Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari-- Michishige's lines
Mini c-ute single 2- Sakura Chirari
Project Ani Uta single 1- Hey! Say!
Do it! Now
Mikan
Ambitious!
An audition for Watashitachi no Kinenbi
Relations
Yume no Naka (but by then my voice was hoarse. xD)
Koi Girl no Victory
Baby! Koi ni Knockout
Play With the Numbers

Most of these had to be recorded several times for various reasons. Mom came out, the phone rang, the dog barked, Simone slammed the door open, stomped in, demanding to know where the scooter was....

Dx

Well, at least I got all of that out of the way.

It actually felt like more because I uploaded songs that I had already recorded but hadn't turned in yet. =3

I still have four more songs to sing. xD Oh, and my lines for Hare Ame Nochi Suki.

I have some mixing to do~

Oh, speaking of dubs...

She put it up!

Like, two hours after I sent in my lines. xD Faaast!

Fifteen voices is A LOT.

I sound really crappy! Dx

A lot of these mics are pretty low quality. But of course, Vee-chan did a great job mixing. =3

telenagikinetic really blew me away! She sounds just like Goto Maki! =D

All of my lines were so low quality yesterday. Dx It kind of was a waste of time, actually. =_____=

I think I'm gonna go listen to my lines once more.... >.>

Monday, July 7, 2008

I have too much to record~ =D

Listening to: Nothing! =D

Here is my intro:

The Name is Taylor... But Kokoro is Cuter. So Call Me That Instead. =3

'Elloo everyone!

My true name is Taylor, but I'd prefer you call me by my internet alias, Kokoro. My username, --Lolita no Kokoro--, is short for LoliKokoro, my other internet alias. And that's even shorter for 'I don't have enough creativity to think of an uber-awesome username, so let's just go with my two favorite things!' AKA Lolita fashion and the word kokoro... Leave it up to the Japanese to make such a spiffy word for 'heart'.

I am fifteen going on sixteen. Actually, let's just say that I'm sixteen. I'll be sixteen in less than a month, and I look like I'm seventeen or eighteen. So sixteen it is!

I'm a Gaia "oldbie", I guess you could say. Joined in good ol' 2004, back when it was 'Gaia Online, an anime and manga roleplaying community'. Before the games and the promotional stuff and the fancy coding.

Ahh, good times.

I've been roleplaying for three and a half of those four years. While the occasional semi-literate roleplay is fun (you can get, like, forty posts out in one afternoon) I really lurv those literate drama roleplays.

I actually don't think I'm all that great, but I guess if I've been invited here, then I must be decent.... -_______-

Let's get down to business, shall we?

Shield Your Eyes!

I'm about five foot one, with long, sharply cut black hair that reaches my hips. I have large eyes and a slender build. To tell you the truth, I'm quite gorgeous. My hobbies are cooking, sewing, and thinking about the boy next door... He may be a bit of a geek, but I saw him that rainy day rescuing that kitten from a melted-Popsicle-puddle. I am also part of the tea ceremony club and I look pretty durn good in a kimono.

Waaait a second. That's not me. That's my cliche-dating-sim-mary-sue-self! =O

Okay, noooow I'll be serious.

I'm six feet tall, with long wavy blonde-brown hair cut in a princess style. I wear glasses. I'm incredibly clumsy and pretty stupid. I only hurt myself when cooking, I fail at sewing, I'm too tall for kimonos, I suck at pouring tea, and the only people who live near me are old ladies.

I'm a lolita, too. So add platform mary-janes, a frilly dress, and a parasol and we're good to go!

Do You Want it Or Not?

I like the stuff listed on my profile page. I dislike the stuff listed on my profile page.

As for roleplays? I love the fluffy romance. I love the unrequited love. I love the 'he's dating her, but she's really in love with this guy and sleeping with another' drama.

I hate action roleplays. I hate horror roleplays. I hate roleplays where I have no idea what I'm talking about.

The Miscellaneous Section

I LURV playing the weirdo character. Also the innocent character, but playing weird people is more fun.
I am a stickler for grammar. =3
I'm an otaku.
When I'm not roleplaying, I'm group dubbing Hello! Project songs.
So yeah, I'm a Morning Musume nerd.
Check my journal for my dubs. ;]
I'm also a shameless advertising whore.
And I'm the self-proclaimed Loli Queen Otaku of all things Otaku-y.
And I want a sammich, dammit.

It's very nice to meet you all! ^-^

I'd include a photo, but I don't have any recent ones. I'm afraid of photos. And mirrors.

I was invited to a literate roleplayer's guild, and this was my intro. I lurv it. ~<3 _______=" Oh" height="344" width="425">

Suki Sugite Baka Mitai, mixed by yours truly.

Shabondama

Aruiteru

Iroppoi Jirettai (mixed by me again; I had some trouble)

Morning Coffee

^^^^^^

Not to brag, but this dub turned out AMAZING. =O I'm actually really impressed by it! And I mixed it! xD

Not much more to talk about. =__________= Gomen ne, minna-san.

Wait, does this mean I have a life?

Well, it certainly has been a while hasn't it?

Currently, I am on my dad's Blackberry. I am sitting in the cafe at the Snowbird ski resort in Utah. While I wait for my family to get off that horrid tram, let me tell you about Utah.

It is July. It is hot. In California, there are about 1200 forest fires. But it's not really all that hot. When crossing the Sierras, the smoke was so thick it was like fog. Jeez.

Here, it is about 96 degrees indoors. Dx

In Utah, the main roads are enclosed in ads. Billboards, banners, electric signs... It is ridiculous. The most common are ads against drunk driving and ads for laser hair removal clinics.

Majority of the population is Mormon.

The mountainsides are covered in developments. Land is cheap so the houses are big and gorgeous. But, they are building the houses faster than people are moving into them! So there are tons of empty houses just sitting there.

We got there late Saturday. On Sunday we just hung out. But Monday... Oh, god.

We went to This Is The Place, or whatever it is called. It is the first place the Mormon settlers lived. There is a little reenactment town now. We went there to see a show... That should have been a warning. But no, we climbed up into the social hall, greeted the gay Mormon boy, and were crushed into the wall by dozens of Mormon children.

The show? Horrific.

These four young adults, wearing shiny shirts, jumped out. They sang. One of the girls kept on tripping. They sang the history of Utah. And they came into the audience.

I was unfortunate enough to be sitting on the aisle. So the scary Justin Timberlake look alike attacked me during the opening number.

Well, not so much attacked me as shook my hand.

They sang. Justin changed on stage. The girl fell down the stairs. And they did a Mormon Tabernacle choir spoof that was pretty funny, I will admit it.

Oooh, we went to an aquarium on Sunday. I will just say that it took us thirty minutes to go through the whole thing. And that included buying tickets, petting the manta ray, and buying gum on the way out.

Tuesday... Was something. I cannot remember. Oh! We went to the movies. I saw Get Smart with my dad. It was funny. My mom and sister saw Wall-e.

Since our movie ended before Wall-e, we wandered around Thanksgiving Point. At 9 PM. There were a lot of people at the theater. I was wearing lolita (casual) and everyone I walked past looked at me strangely. At the grocery store and at the movies, I left a trail of stunned faces behind me. x3

Wednesday I went to the Hogle zoo. I have been there often, so it wasn't anything new. Well, there was an albino alligator. They said that anyone who looks into its eyes is granted good luck for the year. And guess who got a glimpse? Hopefully it will help out in Japan.

I like the red panda.

There was a 30 year old monkey. He was almost like a lizard. Or a dinosaur. It was gross.

Yesterday we went up to a cave. It was a 1.5 mile hike. But it was over 100 degrees. With little shade. Straight uphill.

I did not make it. I headed back down and spent the afternoon in the air conditioned ranger station.

Apparently the cave was really cramped, so I would not have enjoyed it.

And today... We are at the lodge. It is hot, yet sprinkling on and off.

When I get home Saturday (or Sunday, depending on how late) I will post up a bunch of new dubs. =3

I have a lot to record. xD
