Apparently there were Christian protesters at Fanime yesterday. (They also apparently raided the Gaia panel) The Jesus cosplayer was very popular among them. xD Another video I watched revealed he didn't like the protesters at all. xD
So, day three!
Sarah went early to meet Marsha, so when Leah and I got there, she had already picked up my commission. So cute! At first I sort of wished it was in color, but it's so amazing in pencil! And it's from my favorite Deviantart artist to boot. =3
Marsha got Leah a poster of Gackt for her birthday. I wonder how her family will react to a photo of naked Gackt. xD Waist up, of course.
I ordered another commission. I reaaaally wanted to order from another artist, but the booth was too busy and I still wanted to buy manga... So I left it. Oh well. Next year!
I'm a little worried about the commission I DID order. I asked for a picture of Ichigo and Orihime from BLEACH. And she asked if I had reference pictures.... o.o
Maybe if I really wanted to get some great fluffy IchiHime work, I should have looked for someone with BLEACH art for sale. xD
After that Leah and I went back to the Dealer's Hall. I bought manga. And then went to the other end of the hall and bought the manga the first booth didn't have. xD
Unfortunately, I had a little brain-heart-attack-thingie and bought La Corda d'Oro volume 7.... Again. I thought it was volume 8.... Which doesn't come out until June or July....? Bleh. Stupid. I just didn't recognize the cover... But when I took it out of the bag to read it, I said "I already have this one..."

Fanime Day Two!

The PV story is really sweet.
So Fanime day two! It was loooong! O.o
We got there around noon. This time my father came along. =3
While he got his badge, we wandered around. We hit the Dealer's Hall; Leah bought some cat ears. Then we went to the Artist's Alley.
Zeiva was there!
I love Zeiva. Her art is so amazing. There were a lot of amazing artists there, but I've been following Zeiva for some time.
Because I was too shy to ask, Sarah was wonderful enough to go up and commission some IchiHime fanart. I get to pick it up today! (Sunday) I'm so excited!
We wandered around the Artist tables until we left. We went out for lunch, and came back and ATTEMPTED to watch the Lolita Kisama fashion show. Too many people. =__________=
So we went downstairs and waited in the Hilton lobby until our MAD about Nico panel started.
It was really good! I want to get an account on Nico now. =3
After that we hurried over to the Masquerade. We picked up Rachel and Emily along the way, too.
We sat in line for an hour. We were by the Tech Museum. =______=
We got some pretty good seats. Unfortunately, my video camera decided to fizzle and die during the opening entertainment, so I didn't get any clips of actual cosplay.
The seating entertainment was good. A girl came up and sang the first Nico Nico Douga. Sarah and I sang along. =3 I have it memorized. xD
The Stage Ninja was great. xD
As for the acts, a few were good (I found the duet between Light and L hilarious) but a few were.... What in the world were you thinking?
WAY too much Hare Hare Yukai. I can never dance it again. Six times just killed it. And none of them were very good!
We left right before the winners were announced. Most people left. Since most of them sucked, we didn't really care...
I was surprised by the number of people who sang along during the Mulan songs. O.o
Anywho, I got home tired and with a headache. We really need to get a hotel room next year.

Fanime Day One! =D

I love these girls.
Yesterday be Fanime!
Sarah, Leah, and I got dropped off at the convention center right after school. We immediately met up with Jeremy and Rachel and someone I do not know but have seen. They go to our school. We followed them around randomly and then to the line so Rachel could register.
We decided to ditch them and head upstairs!
I love the feeling of Fanime. It's the best. ^-^
We ran around the Dealer's Hall. OMG there were a lot of lolita items! Every row of booths had a store with lolita dresses. Too bad they were tiny... >.>
They be mocking meeee!
We went to karaoke, but no one was singing yet. Too early. =_________=
Then we followed the group, who we had met up with again at karaoke. We followed them to the gamer's room and bumped into Natsuki and Patrick. The group disbanded again, so we were nomads once again.
After some shopping, we bought some Boba Tea (It was the best thing ever. Honeydew milk tea. =O) and sat down planning for Saturday. Then we left. But not before hanging out some more and making weird videos.
The line for MusicFest was super-long. I guess it's because An Cafe is performing this year....
Anywho, like last year, here is my purchased goodies list!

Monday. Migraine.
Tuesday. Migraine.
Wednesday. Japanese interview test.
Thursday. OMFG.
I had my very first driving lesson today! My mother assured me that it would be fine, that she'd take me to a parking lot and that we'd learn the basics. Buuuut no.
I get in the driver's seat. The teacher, Cyndy with a YYYYY (I say it with a scary voice) spends maybe ten seconds explaining how the car works, then demands that I pull away from the curb right then and there!
Um, I've only driven with the brake...? No gas pedal....
It was traumatizing. Two hours of hell. And it was simple stuff, like just turning and navigating the streets! (Which is all I need to know). I went 35 at the fastest and it was too friggin fast.
I'm gonna die next Tuesday and Wednesday, when we get into the hardcore stuff. =_____=
After that, I didn't get a moment to breathe before Sarah was dropped off so we could pick up our passes for Fanime (wewtwewt!)
We then picked up Leah, and off we went speeding to the convention center so I could pick up my pass before I had to babysit later that evening.
The line was friggin long!
But we waited anyway.
People were cosplaying. I can understand cosplaying to FANIME, but not to wait in a line for an hour. ^^;
Oh well. Freaks will be freaks.
It was fun waiting. My dad had to leave before we could get the passes, because it was cutting into my babysitting time. He decided to be a good otousan and go babysit for me until I was done getting meh pass.
We finally got sent into the registration room. We needed a form of ID, but since I don't have any, my father gave me his driver's license. What was I supposed to do with that? Say, "yes this is me BEFORE the operation". =________________=

Yes, I said F**** >.> Get over it.

Yes, I said it. I was home all alone (still am, actually) talking with Syrus AKA Connor AKA my pet Canadian AKA Omocha-chan. I went to get the last chocolate milk box from the fridge. I was taunting him and going "Jealous now? How about now?" Then I took a huge sip from my milk box.
Holy crap.
It must have gone bad with this heat. It doesn't need to be refrigerated, so it was sitting out on the table. It wasn't supposed to expire until October (but that does say something, doesn't it?)
But however it happened, this was DISGUSTING. It was chunky and tasted like sour-teriyaki-sauce-barf. After I was done ridding my mouth of such foul tasting substance (it was no longer a liquid) I typed into the IM window "What the F*** was that?!"
Syrus wouldn't stop bugging me about it.
Ugh.
Sooo, I drove yesterday. It was scary. I just drove with the brake. xD And yet I kept on slamming on the brakes every ten feet. Dx
Graaaah!
Okay, first I need to explain this roleplay before I talk about it.
Okay, so I play Katsumi, the pretty yet sarcastic and antisocial nurse of the town (it's based off of Harvest Moon). She's never really gotten along well with people until she meets Kento, the owner of the local cafe. He introduces her to the newest additions of the village as they come pouring in. But she doesn't start really coming out of her shell until she meets Soul, a kind and gentle boy who moved there with his younger sister, Heart. Katsumi checks in on Soul when he is sick and soon becomes friends with him. Eventually, she starts to develop a crush on him. The problem? Soul has a one-sided crush on Fantasy, his childhood friend. (Later Fantasy's cousin, Kyle, starts going out with Heart).
Got it so far?
Eventually Soul gives up on Fantasy when she starts getting really close to Thomas, the town farmer. That means he FINALLY notices Katsumi, and the two fall in love (yay).
So now it's Katsumi and Soul, Kyle and Heart, Thomas and Fantasy, and Kento has paired up with his good friend, Louise.
So yesterday? Thomas proposed to Fantasy. She very happily agreed, and they had a touching little moment planning their futures.
Then, all of a sudden, I log on to see that Kento has fallen seriously ill (Everyone thought he had anemia, but lack of iron is not going to cause you to cough up blood) and has been hospitalized in the new city area his player created. That's all good and well, Katsumi has detached herself from Kento by this point anyway, but Fantasy suddenly makes an announcement none of us were expecting!
She's not sure who to choose, Thomas or Kento!
Okay, she hasn't shown much interest in Kento before this. They were just friends. On her relationship chart (we use the Harvest Moon heart system to depict relationships) she has Kento under Green, slight crush and good friends. And she has Thomas under Red Heart, true love.
Umm....
She's already ENGAGED to Thomas, who she's in love with. She may or may not have a CRUSH on Kento. Besides, Kento already has a girlfriend!
I was talking with Soul Punisher, Soul's player, and we were so confused by her decision. Apparently she's going to go with Kento.
Pardon my French, but...
WTF?!
I guess I don't care either way. I mean, I love ThomasxFantasy (this roleplay has been going on for several months; we've established our favorite pairings xD) and I'd like to see them together, but...
The drama just sounds so delicious!
When Katsumi hears of this, no matter what the outcome is, she'll probably slap Fantasy hard across the face. =D

I look out my window, and I see a flash of pink.
I go outside to see a row of Naruto cosplayers walking down the sidewalk like it's perfectly normal. There was Jiraiya, Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, Gaara... And they were great cosplays, too.

I'm too tired to report on much. Besides, nothing really happened. Instead, for your enjoyment, I'm uploading a video of me singing the second Nico Nico Douga.... Badly, might I add.

Bad! Bad! Bad!

So pretty~
I'm starving to upload a new group dub.... I've started mixing for my other two. I just need two people for Iroppoi Jirettai and two people for Morning Coffee. >.> I want to upload a new one, but I don't want to seem like I have too much on my plate...
I probably will upload one anyway. xD
Leah came over today and edited our project. I uploaded what we had to Youtube. Sarah wants to add some background music and cover a mistake she made, but I'm not so sure... I think our project is perfect the way it is. =_____=
Here it is:
I'm so dramatic. I loved playing Fujioka-hime.
Here's the plot, that I wrote in the video description:
"Once there lived a poor fisherman who was in love with the strangely foreign looking princess. But it was only until Watanabe, the fisherman, confessed his love to the freakishly tall Fujioka-hime did they realize they were from two totally different worlds...
But then we completely disregard that plot and go onto the real one!
Marsha is hungry, and wants chips! Taylor has some, but to everyone's horror, the bag is empty! Sarah says that Steven, their classmate, surely must have stolen them! And so our heroines go to retrieve their stolen chips!
But they must first cross a bridge where a fat troll and his chibis dwell. Taylor is almost unable to make it across, but with the help of her friends, she succeeds.
After traveling great distances, the heroines are worn out. Sarah is tired, Marsha is still hungry, Leah is overheated, and Taylor is tall. Then, off in the distance they see (Dora the Explorer style) Steven's house!
Includes Leah and Marsha's fierce rock-paper-scissors battle and a blooper."

I really do think I'll go upload that video now. >.>
By the way, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei has become one of my new favorite anime.

STAR testing is over. Yayz.
I had two tests today. Japanese and Chemistry. Surprisingly, I did great on both. O.o;;; I should have taken my Geometry test today. I didn't do so great. -__________-
Today, Paul gave me a cookie by putting it on meh head. Leah then proceeded to take the cookie off my head and not give it back. Her defense was that she was punishing Paul (but it's my cookie!) and that she never gets any sweets, because she gives me her M&Ms (if you want them, don't give them away!)
So it's frustrating. She owes me a cookie.
Paul also gave me a glowy bracelet-thingie. It's puuurple-y-pink. =3
Yupp. That's all that happened, really.
